Okay so I went into work earlier on my night off to help out and after a pretty good shift went t1ts up rapidly towards the end with a couple of colleagues falling out. Basically one colleague was called out on the fact they hadn't pulled their finger out of their ar5e all night and they then took offence to it. So I retreated home where I have adopted my 'one pint stress relief system'.
You take one Guinness British pint glass you had acquired from a local Guinness selling pub, a bottle of Jameson Irish whiskey and a can of 440ml draught Guinness.
You then put about an inch say of whiskey into the bottom of the pint glass.
Then taking the 440ml can of draught Guinness you open it and pour into the glass while holding the glass at a 45 degree angle.
You now wait for said beverage of the gods to settle.
and enjoy.
Sod the world, I'm taking a time out.

Is there any other way?

I was waiting for the Rice Krispies to come into play.
Breafass of Champions!
Good taste either way.

I love my Guinness pint glass. The shape of it makes it such a joy to hold and drink out of.

I think I'd drink the whiskey neat and chase with the guinness.

Or get Baileys and do Irish car bombs.
Maybe that just the college kid talking...

Acquired illegally! I have in the past asked but I have a method of acquiring them very skillfully.

The Rice Krispies aren't mine. Though I haven't recently retaken to Ricicles. Oh they are great.

I've found that having an attractive lady friend smuggle them out in her purse works well.

I've a few both 'acquired' and gifted.
I've two like this.
But the proper legal measured pint glass from a pub like
with the British weight and measures logo on

I lived in Northern Ireland briefly and being an English man there was two things I would never dream to order. One was an Irish car bomb and the other was a black and tan. The black and tan has re-established itself as a great drink but in Northern Ireland it has another meaning with another history.

What do you think I was doing while taking these (surprisingly stable) pictures ;)

I like it, however not having any attractive lady friends or at least ones that would do this for me meant I had to adopt my own method.
Buy two, three or more pints of Guinness, when one is empty place it upside down on the floor (the 'dreggs' will run out), after a while pick up the glass and wipe the rim. Place the glass down the sleeve of your coat and turn the cuff of the sleeve up into the glass. You are now able to pick up the coat by the collar and most will think nothing of it, gently walk or place the coat over your arm and slowly walk outside. Job done.

I did not know those were stamped at the bottom. Now I've gotta go find one to buy.

It's no longer PC to use actual monkeys so they now use a sock puppet monkey (no, look at it first, it's actually quite good).

Older glasses tend to be stamped on the base while modern ones tend to be stamped near the top of the glass.
Glasses in the U.K. must have a stamp (like the one in the previous post) with 'pint' on top of the crown and a number which represents the Weights and Measures Authority where the glass was stamped/made, below the crown to show it complies with the U.K. weights and measures act. This so that the consumer isn't short charged and when they buy a pint, they get a pint.
Stamp numbers
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Novelty ones like you find in gift sets etc... aren't stamped usually as they don't have to comply with the same regulations that a publican (licensed seller of alcoholic beverages) in the U.K.

LS!!! I have been meaning to find you. Recently I patched over my eurotruck from the oroginal program to the steam version with the dreams of downloading multiplayer. But now my profiles don't work because of the mods in them. I am just wondering where I should locate my mods in the steam game folders in order to have them load.

I understand what your saying..they are delicious though. It's too bad they are unfortunately named. It doesn't have to have an offensive name.

Yes. I like my Guinness glass for Guinness though, it just seems right. :)

A black and tan isn't necessarily a bad or offensive name but there are certain things that, how should I put it, seem worse coming from one person rather than another.
It's like anything really, 'gay' used to mean happy, 'fag' is another name for a cigarette the U.K. They just seem to take a different meaning depending on who and where it's said.
There's no denying they taste great if done with the right pale ale and Guinness and I've only ever had one Irish car bomb, four measures of Baileys and the pint glass filled with Guinness and I downed it. Lets just say I was well out of it later on and woke up the next morning in a car park. Lol.

One day I was driving to work at 6am saturday and I came across a man lying on the rural road. I pulled over and went to see him. Buddy had had a night drinking and passed out right there on the shoulder lol.

I must stress I never drink and drive. I had walked home (attempted) but somehow stopped short of my house and fell asleep on the ground of the car park a street or two away from where I'd normally walk to get home.
I took do anything in my youth but as you get older you start thinking of how much time you'll need to take off to recuperate from a heavy night out.

Haha I'm about 27 and I have realized this now. 18 I am not!!
However last saturday somehow I had about 10-12 drinks and woke up fine. I also took my first uber. I assumed you'd ended up in the car park because you were cutting across it and just made it that far. Oppo's know better than to drink and drive ;)

You'd be amazed at how many don't.
When I was 22, we used to go to one of Spain's island (typical British place for the young to holiday) and we'd drink solidly for a good 20 odd hours a day for 12-14 days and nights. Now I just think what's the point and enjoy a nice pint, or whiskey or both.

One of my friends mixes Hennessy and Red Bull. I refuse to try it because I'm scared of what will happen.
Last night I had a very dirty martini. I keep forgetting just how strong gin is.

I've never messed with ETS multiplayer, but I have done what you did and gone to Steam.
The mod folder is in the same location as they were in the non-Steam version, C:\users\(username)\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod. The profiles are in the same place as well, C:\users\(username)\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\
You may need to temporarily disable all mods in your profile and and re-enable them a few at a time, loading the game each time, to test which mod(s) are causing problems.
The Steam version always gets the latest updates, so your Steam version is likely newer than your non-Steam game was. Some game updates sometimes are incompatible with mods that haven't been updated.
Let me know if you're successful or not.

I don't do gin. It depresses me.

Most booze just makes me sleepy but for some reason gin makes me incredibly silly.

Booze makes me sleepy after I've done a 10 hour shift but have been awake for much longer.
I've only had gin once where it didn't depress me and that was on a flight to Spain and the purser didn't have any vodka or whiskey so I had a gin and cola. Though saying that, it was a Ryanair flight so I probably already was as depressed as I was ever going to get.

So I just picked up some beer today. It happened to be Guinness. Guess what the beer store's free gift was for today...
It's fairly stylized compared to the other ones in my collection:

Slainte. I'm surprised it doesn't say 'brewed in Dublin' in French under the English on the glass. :)
